What is the secret to teaching our students?

Being a teacher is probably one of the most rewarding careers one could ever have! After being in this profession for many years, I have come to conclude that some should leave it or allow mentors to assist them in this field. Our students want to learn. They desire to grow! Most children enter the school house at Kindergarten excited, joyful, and eager to learn. But what happens? Why do our students lose that zest, that excitement, that hope that they once have had?
