About the Event

The series will unite a diverse group of HBCU alumni to discuss their experiences as an HBCU student, graduate, and how being a part of such a community assisted with their growth and development.

Through a series of black consciousness and thoughtfully designed sessions, the audience will have the opportunity to listen and learn from our panelists. The conversations will hone in on the voices of those who can speak on various subjects that are finally surfacing and highlighting the importance of Black education and nurturing Black students.

We will engage the topics:

March 10, 2021- The Power of Reiki with two HBCU grads. Sophire an A&T gradute will join Jasmine Dominque, a Tennessee State graduate to discuss the benefits of Reiki. This is also a great lesson for students and educators to learn.

March 17, 2021- Women in the Sciences with HBCU graduates and community members to discuss their journey as women in this area of study.

March 24, 2021- Women in Higher Education with women who are currently and retired from higher education institutions. They will share many gems!

March 31, 2021- Women in Engineering with several North Carolina A&T State University graduates!

April 7, 2021- You've Been Accepted to College: What Next? A Conversation with Dr. Dee!
